Uncertainty

Well this is one position where I am definitely not at my best... options in front of me and I have to make a choice... I teach decision making models to clients but in my life I am a big "I want it all". The consequence of this is that I am all the time having post purchase dissonance of some kind and options acquire differing priorities based on my mood swings.
Any practical help around? No, please avoid theoretical frameworks... I make those for a living
